This is the week we put it all together. Pelini, the Carl version, was talking about having the best practice week of the season. Not a good thing for the Cyclones.
We will rush the ball hard and see Lucky over 100 yards rushing.
We will record 3+ sacks, as ISU will go one-dimensional due to falling behind early and lacking the power to create a rushing game.
We will still have some mental lapses and avoid a total blow-out, but we'll see some backups get playing time.
This is the first week of a very good second half of the season.
NU 28-6 at halftime
NU 45-20
I hope for Nebraska this isn't similar to the typical golf story in which the golfer tweaks his swing, plays three great holes in a row to finish the day, thinking he has it all figured out, but the next time he goes out he sucks just as bad as normal.
Ganz will not complete about 80% of his passes on a regular basis.
On the other hand, V Tech has one loss and has wins over North Carolina and Georgia Tech, both of whose only loss this season is to V Tech. So, maybe the only really bad game was the Missouri game.
